Rock You Like a Hurricane

Even after much study on weather forecasting, 5th graders will understand that not all weather events and effects can be fully forecasted, especially natural disasters such as hurricanes. Students will code Sphero balls to navigate supplies to hurricane victims as they encounter obstacles on their paths to survivors such as downed power lines, flood zones, mudslides, fallen debris, and road destruction. Students will showcase these pathways to conference attendees.
