Part of PDTCA 2026
Friday 20 February 2026·6:40 pm
Students are constantly exposed to an overwhelming "doom and gloom" narrative surrounding climate change and biodiversity loss. This narrative has been proven to cause anxiety in students, with the new term 'eco-anxiety' now widely recognized by educators and mental health professionals. This workshop provides educators with practical strategies to discuss these critical issues while fostering hope and agency. You'll learn research-backed techniques for building empathy for wildlife.
