Nutrition in Action: Tailoring and Evaluating Family-Centered Activities

Coordinating and delivering family-oriented nutrition education is an exciting and rewarding task that doesn’t need to be complex or expensive. Participants will explore approaches to multifaceted nutrition education for preschoolers which support literacy, encourage food related skill development, and foster exploration of new and familiar foods. The session will conclude with planning a simple, engaging family-oriented activity that is tailored by the participant for their site and population.
