PE Meets the World: Global Games in KC

This session brings culture and physical activity together in dynamic, meaningful ways. Participants will learn and experience games from countries and cultures around the world that promote skill development, inclusion, teamwork, and cultural diversity. Each activity will come with adaptable teaching strategies, cultural context, and ideas for immediate implementation in elementary and middle school settings. We will explore the history and traditions behind each game while highlighting how they create authentic connections between movement and culture.
