3H: From Aim to Architecture: Designing for Scale in the RAISE Network

What does it take to design a Networked Improvement Community capable of achieving measurable results at scale? This session introduces participants to RAISE, a statewide network aiming to reduce chronic absenteeism in California by half by 2029. Drawing inspiration from large-scale healthcare improvement efforts, RAISE is working to build a design that capitalizes on the key advantage of networks- the ability to support distributed, coordinated problem-solving across diverse educational stakeholders. Through interactive activities, participants will unpack the design choices and leadership strategies behind the network—and consider their effects, trade-offs, and lessons learned.
