Pre-Con Add-On: Coaching for Improvement: Supporting Teams Toward New Practices

Coaching can be essential to build individual and team capabilities and support progress towards an improvement goal, but there are few resources that describe this nuanced work. In this session, participants will collaboratively explore and analyze common improvement coaching dilemmas and consider different practices that a coach might use to help the improvement team move forward in its work. Participants will engage in a scenario-based simulation and also articulate and reflect on a challenge from their own practice.
