4L: Using AI to Support Continuous Improvement Cycles in Team-Based Staffing Models

How can schools get better at teaming in a structured way? This interactive workshop, hosted by ASU’s Next Education Workforce initiative, introduces an AI-powered continuous improvement bot grounded in the Plan-Do-Study-Act (PDSA) cycle. The tool supports educator teams to strengthen team-based strategic staffing models by guiding them through each step of improvement routines: defining problems, testing solutions, studying results, and adapting practice. At the same time, the bot aggregates data across schools, enabling the Next Education Workforce team to spot system-wide trends and tailor technical assistance. Participants will engage with the bot directly, explore case-based scenarios, and reflect on how AI-supported improvement cycles can scaffold teaming and accelerate learning. Attendees will leave with a practical workflow they can adapt for their own schools, plus insights into how aggregated data can inform coaching and system transformation.
