Amplified Leadership: Introduction to AI for School Leaders

This session is designed for school leaders with little or no experience using generative AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini. If you are uncertain about where to start with AI or feel overwhelmed by these tools, this session will provide a practical foundation for you. The session emphasizes hands-on learning throughout. Participants will use provided prompts to interact directly with AI tools, explore their capabilities, and develop a foundational understanding of how these systems work. Rather than passive observation, attendees will engage in guided practice to see what AI can and cannot do in real time. By the end of the session, participants will apply what they have learned to an authentic challenge from their own schools and understand how AI can support problem-solving, planning, and decision-making in their leadership practice. Participants should bring a laptop or device to engage with the tools throughout the session fully.
