An Exhibition: Voices in Early Childhood Art Education

The Early Childhood Art Educators Interest Group, along with collaborating organizations, is hosting an exhibition of young children (birth–3rd grade) and their educators/caregivers' artworks at the upcoming NAEA Convention in Chicago. This exhibition, Voices in Early Childhood Art Education, aims to amplify the essential role of the arts in early learning. Rooted in the mission and vision of Early Childhood Art Educators, this exhibition celebrates the ways art empowers children to explore, imagine, and construct knowledge of their worlds. The Voices exhibition centers on the belief that every child has an innate capacity for curiosity, creativity, and communication, and that the arts are not an enrichment but a foundation for holistic learning. An exhibition reception will be held on March 7, 2026, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
