(Pre-Reg Max 30) Cutting and Pasting: Doing Collage in the Language Arts Classroom

This session will engage participants in a variety of hands-on experiments with multimodal collage in the language arts classroom. Drawing inspiration from sources across the arts (from Henri Matisse to Pauline Oliveros), we will collectively create characters, stories, and story-environments (worlds) by leaning into the unexpected and accidental possibilities of collage.
