3C: Assessing Districts' and Schools' Readiness for Instructional NICs

Participants will review a reflection tool co-developed by TNTP/IFL to support districts and schools in assessing their readiness, strengths, and growth opportunities in supporting networked learning around an instructional challenge. Participants will practice using the tool with sample district case studies and then plan for how to apply the tool in their own systems. This will be a hands on session, and participants will leave with an understanding of the tool, its uses and limitations for districts and schools to more deeply understand their readiness and capacity to establish an instructional NIC, and a plan for adapting the tool in their own networked learning efforts.
