Most schools say wellbeing is a priority, but how do you know it’s working if you can’t see it? Whilst school leaders strive to build strategies and systems that support pastoral care, in many schools, pastoral care lives in memory, inboxes, or hallway conversations. It’s real, but it’s hidden. And when care stays invisible, it can’t be supported, scaled, or sustained. This session is for school leaders ready to move from gut feel to informed practice which is supported by strategic planning and the right systems. Drawing on Schoolbox’s work with international schools across Asia, the Middle East, as well as hundreds of schools in Australia and New Zealand, we’ll explore what shifts when care becomes visible not just to leadership, but across every layer of the school.
