Parent Engagement: Creating a Supportive Learning Environment

Saturday 7 February 2026·6:15 am

In alignment with the E33 Strategic Goal to foster “Engaged educators and parents that nurture lifelong learning” this interactive workshop invites international school leaders and educators to explore practical and culturally responsive strategies for empowering parents as active participants in their children's education. Through a dynamic blend of discussion, case studies, collaborative reflection, and action planning, participants will examine current engagement practices, identify barriers and opportunities unique to their contexts, and co-design approaches that foster stronger, more connected school communities. The workshop will also highlight how the accreditation process can serve not just as a framework for reflective practice, continuous improvement, and transformational growth, but as a powerful opportunity to engage and empower parents—making them informed partners in the continuous improvement of their child’s learning experience. Leaders will leave with actionable strategies and a 30-day implementation plan to begin building more inclusive and impactful home–school partnerships that support learners at every step.
