Culture: The Fifth Domain in Bilingual Education

Culture has always been involved in any practices and discussions about language acquisition and learning. But it has always been treated as a means, not an end. This makes the approach to cultural acquisition vague and shallow. In my research I propose to consider cultural acquisition a domain in the realm of language acquisition and learning. For that, we need to have clear goals - and assess its learning as well.
