Spotlight Lesson Demonstration: Adapting ARC Curriculum for the DLBE Classroom
Saturday 7 March 2026·6:40 pm
In November 2025, MABE arranged DLBE Spotlight Lesson Demonstrations across MA, RI and CT. Spotlight teachers were supported by MABE in lesson planning and visitors participated in pre- and post-observation meetings around the demonstration lesson. In this presentation, from a 1st grade Spanish-side classroom in Providence, RI, the Spotlight teacher will show how she adapts the ARC curriculum for the DLBE classroom by adding dramatization, movement, and song. Learn from her experience as she shares her original lesson plan, explains modifications to fit their DLBE class, and shares video clips, pictures, and feedback she took from the visit.
