(TICKET REQUIRED) Architecture for All Places: Organic Design and Biomimicry
In this hands-on workshop, educators will take a tour of the iconic Frederick C. Robie House in Chicago's Hyde Park neighborhood to learn about the concepts of organic and biomimetic architecture, which are two design styles inspired by the natural world. Participants will work together to design and build a 3D structure with found and recycled materials in an adaptable workshop that can be tailored to suit all ages and abilities. Transportation is included for this off-site workshop experience. A Know Before You Go communication will be sent closer to the Convention with complete details, including pickup and return times, to help you plan accordingly. THIS IS A TICKETED SESSION. Please visit the FAQ page for detailed instructions on purchasing tickets to add to your NAEA26 registration or view this video tutorial (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PI9KC8-Jzj8&feature=youtu.be).
