2H: From Absences to Access: Improving Attendance for Students with Disabilities
Tuesday 31 March 2026·4:40 pm
In this workshop, participants will explore how the System Improvement Leads, in partnership with four districts across the state, reduced chronic absenteeism for students with disabilities by 32.5%. Participants will review real data visualizations, artifacts (attendance script, success plan, check-in tools), and incentive systems that drove change. Through interactive activities, they will analyze strategies, adapt tools, and identify key takeaways for their own settings. Attendees will leave with both inspiration and practical strategies that they can apply in their own context to drive improvement.
