2N: UCM & K-12 District Partnership Utilizing the Early Identifying and Intervention System

For the past ten years, the University of California, Merced's (UC Merced) Center for Educational Partnership (CEP) and a K-12 Unified School District partnership have increased student outcomes through the lens of equity and access. Operationalizing the leading research on early warning systems, the UCM CEP has created a unique Early Identification and Intervention System (EIIS) system, which was informed by this K-12 partner unswerving application. This partnership and the use of the EIIS have equipped the district with a real-time advocacy detection system that identifies PK-12 students who need immediate or can benefit from tailored support service
