4E: Heal Thyself: Advancing Systemic Change at MCOE

Join us for an inside look at Merced COE’s dynamic journey toward organizational transformation. What began as an effort to build capacity around Improvement Science for our county districts quickly turned inward, revealing a need to strengthen our own practices. This realization sparked the creation of an internal improvement network—where every department takes on real projects with measurable process improvements and reduced feelings of siloed work. Today, MCOE leads this thriving network, providing hands-on coaching and support as teams apply Improvement Science to their daily work. In this session, we’ll share one teams journey through the work as a case study, unpack the critical steps that launched our internal network, and reflect on the challenges, breakthroughs, and key lessons we've learned along the way.
