Spotlight Lesson Demonstration: Así Se Dice

In November 2025, MABE arranged DLBE Spotlight Lesson Demonstrations across MA, RI and CT. Spotlight teachers were supported by MABE in lesson planning and visitors participated in pre- and post-observation meetings around the demonstration lesson. In this presentation, from a 3rd grade English-side classroom in Lynn, MA, the Spotlight teacher will highlight the Así Se Dice strategy for cross-language connections. Learn from her experience as she shares her original lesson plan, explains modifications to fit her DLBE class, and shares video clips, pictures, and feedback she took from the visit.
